idk why we(as the Interact Club) had to do such things(although it was quite fun).
cause the other day everyone was discussing
about cleaning the DIRTY & FILTHY pond in front of the school entrance.
i mean, cant we do better things like selling food or sth? lol
anyways, moving on to the main reason why i blogged.
SUSHI KING is officially(sort of) opened today.
and i thought the opening day was tmr, 1st August 2009.
heh luckily i was in Parkson and right in front of Big Apple
when i saw about 10 ppl standing outside Sushi King there.
at first i thought they were there to watch the workers sweep the floor.
lol but i saw many sushi(s) on the table and i knew sth wasnt right.
who knew, 5 minutes later the Asst. Manager opened the door
and everyone dashed into the restaurant.
good thing i was fast enough and was one of the first persons to step into that place.
so the placed looked quite nice and high-class.
i like the big logo at the side there.
the GM there was really friendly and cute too.
she kept talking to my mum while we were waiting for our da bao-ed sushi(s).
i heard my mum say the GM told her that there are 56 Sushi King outlets throughout Msia.
well, i went through the ala-carte menu
and found that the pictures of the food didnt seem as attractive as the one at Excapade.
somehow, i kinda prefer Excapade more than this Sushi King.
eventhough Sushi King is much more famous that Excapade.
you knw, i even overheard this guy who looks really familiar talking to the GM.
here's part of their conversation which i heard.
but i dnt remember every single word they say so i jst agak2 only laa.
*spoken in chinese but translated to english.
Guy : the food here not bad lah.
GM : yah yah.
Guy : but the taste is abit "guai guai"(weird in chinese)
GM : weird? is it?
Guy : yeah. well ive eaten in this restaurant in KL there and its delicious and cheap.
GM : the price here also around the same as KL ah.
Guy : i knw and the sushi there tastes better.
GM : oh really? its actly the same and the the manager is also the same
Guy : yeah, i knw but the one here abit weird the taste. maybe jst newly open
GM : ya loh ya loh.
Guy : ya maybe lah. haha(dnt knw is real or fake laugh laa)
GM : haha(this one also dnt knw real or not lol) ya loh ya loh.
the conversation very LOL pls. ahahaha @@
and i kinda somehow abit agree with the guy.
maybe cause ive been to Excapade too many times
and the food here isnt that good tasting lor.
but its only opened in less than a day and i cant say much about it can i?
so i guess i'll be going there a few more times
and then i'll make my final decision about the Sushi King and Excapade.
LOL macamlah im such a pro food critic or sth. HAHA
but still, some of the udon and other food in the menu did look mouth-watering laa.
